This is a serious rosé made in the hills of Saint-Tropez - finely balanced with lively red summer-berry fruit and a hint of spice leading to a long, crisp finish. Provence rosé at its very best and lovely to drink on its own or with light summer dishes.
The 2020 Maison Angelvin rosé is pale pink in the glass, with an almost silvery shimmer, so delicate and yet the aromas are really quite intense with summer berries, wild strawberry, orange blossom and honeysuckle. The palate is crisp and precise, finely balanced with red berry fruit, a touch of white peach and an almost herbaceous note all wrapped up with a freshening zing on the long, dry finish.
Maison Angelvin is a family-owned winery that produces one of the best rosés around.
